Works as a sailor on a ship.
His parents died when he was young, the ship they were on sank and they sacrificed their lives to get him to safety, using the last of their energy to get him on a makeshift raft.
Previously named Oliver, forgot his name and made up a new one on the spot. (He was asked what his name was, so he tried to remember, and only remembered the "-liver" part of his name. He saw a seagull fly by and put the two words for his new name.)
