Appearance

Brie is a Phooka, an animal-like Fae with rat, horse, rabbit or deer-like features, though Brie leans mostly rat. She’s a small black-furred rat-like creature with large ears, white markings on her snout, chest, wrists and ankles. She has a long naked tail. She has yellow eyes. Brie wears layered dresses in green, orange and brown tones. She likes jewelry and wears earrings, rings and a circlet.

Personality

Brie is a quiet but chipper personality. She revels in social events and the wild reveries of the Fae Courts. She’s terribly loyal to her Court though recent events have cracked that. She hides a sneakier and more cutthroat side that is willing to play underhandedly and sneaky to get what she wants.

History

Brie has lived her entire life in the Autumnal Court’s capital. She loves the hustle and bustle and feels no reason to ever leave. She met Aurelia when she came into town to sell her catches and immediately took a shine to her. Brie more or less inserted herself into the other’s life but Aurelia never seemed to mind, welcoming the company. Eventually, the two became a pair and Aurelia came to live with her.

When they had their child, the pair was told by their Liege to swap them with a human child they’d bring back with them. Brie was perfectly happy to go along with it, seeing it as their innate duty and tried to get Aurelia to see this when she fought them on it. This argument would create a rift between the pair that still hasn’t healed. When the time came to retrieve their child, they found them gone, something that baffled Brie, who would have never seen this coming. She secretly regretted not fighting the original decision and this has reflected back onto their stolen child, Zeph.

When Aurelia voiced her wishes to speak against Leige, Brie was against it, seeing it as being risky. But her partner did so anyway. More amused than anything, the Autumn Liege told her that in time, in years, the Fae would seek to take Earth and that then Aurelia and Brie could reclaim their child. This pleased Brie, seeing it as them being able to reclaim their child and even more.

Skills

Like all Fae, she has innate magical abilities, specializing in illusion, misdirection and charisma. She is good with her words and general misdirection, often using it to get what she wants.
