John Seed (Childhood Friend / Boss / Lover)
"Kate and John were friends as children when John moved into town with his family, they were always together either at church or out and about in the woods or wheat fields, She did her best to protect him from his family by always inviting him to youth study or just to hang out. John shorty does move away losing contact until Kate is sent to the same religious boarding School although at this point John due to his upbringing is very distant but still nice to her. After they graduate Kate is forced to go back to her mother. many years later Kate finds John again in Montana although she cant stay this time when she leaves her mother she goes back to Montana due to the promise they made as kids to always protect each other. Although at this point John doesn't remember Kate due to the child abuse and drug usage they do grow close again when Kate becomes his bodyguard after being recommended by Icarus. Their relationship is pretty bitter sweet since Kate remembers everything and he doesn't and nor would she tell him to protect him.
Icarus Walker (Best Friend)
Icarus's Walker, One of Kate's closest friends. They met through John when Kate went to boarding school. They share a lot of similar interest that being music as Icarus is a song writer and singer on the side, They have even played the main characters from the musical "Hades Town" for their school drama class. Icarus has always been the one to include and bring Kate out to parties and really just brings the best out of her. Icarus had also joined Eden's Gate with Skylar although he didn't get to see her when she came to Montana for the family summer trip when she officially joins years later he takes her under his wing and is hands down the reason why she became so skilled in combat. Icarus who is also John's Bodyguard had placed in the recommendation for Kate to also be a bodyguard. As mentioned since they're very close and the fact Icarus did remember her they typically share secrets with each other. Icarus is also into Kate romantically and typically since Skylar is also romantically into Kate as well a lot of the time they get confused as a 3 way couple.
Skylar Walker (Best Friend)
Skylar like Icarus met Kate at boarding school She was really shy around Kate since she thought how cool Kate was and the feeling was mutual, Kate has always been the one who see how hard Skylar works and just how talented she is and she's always been Skylar's biggest support other than Icarus. Kate has always enjoyed hanging out with Skylar, they like to communicate in different languages and switch it up as a little game. When the summer family trip happened they found each other again and Skylar was the one to show her around the grounds of Eden's Gate. After Kate comes back to join the cult Skylar asked to have Kate stay with her and Icarus. She bandaged up Kate after training with Icarus and always made food for her after training. They became closer then ever during this time, Since Skylar even now was still shy she would always push Skylar to share her ideas and helped her become more confident as Kate was someone she looked up to even as kids.
