- His collection consists of lots of coins and gems, books and scrolls, but his pride and joy is the vast amount of weapons of all kinds that he's found.
- It's difficult for him to keep track of time. He can go centuries without leaving his home and hardly know that any time has passed at all.
- While he enjoys reading about romance, it's something he's rarely experienced himself. He prefers fiction to dealing with the intricacies of it, especially after a less than ideal experience with a previous partner.
- He can't hold his alcohol and prefers to avoid drinking it when he can avoid it, especially around others.
Saiph is quiet and a bit of a loner, preferring to spend his time amongst his large collection of things he's accumulated during his travels rather than around people. When he does interact with others, he's very courteous and personable. He strives to be chivalric in all his dealings, although his passive nature can get in the way of this at times. He's not one to make waves, prefering to keep himself out of trouble and avoid arguments. He isn't one to be impulsive or act on emotions, prefering to think things through and take the most logical route. He keeps many of his feelings close to his chest.
He finds Ator enjoyable enough to speak with. He's a bit too loud and intense for Saiph to be able to handle too often, a bit too immature, but they share enough interests that when they do happen to speak, it's not unpleasant.
Although they do not see one another often, it just makes it more of a treat for the both of them when they can visit. He enjoys getting to show her new additions to his collection and answer her seemingly endless stream of questions.
