Kiyoshi didnt grow up in a healthy household. It was fine until he was about 12 years old - his parents adored their daughter just like any other family until he became interested in different hobbies, particulary skateboarding. His parents didnt think this was safe, or rather they didnt think a girl should be engaging in the sport. Most of his elementary school friends were guys, and being around them made him question things about himself. He officially came out as transgender when he was 14, telling his parents he wanted to identify as a guy.

They did not take it well. Behind Kiyoshi's back, his parents were already in a rough place so his coming out only caused them to be more disfunctional. He wasnt accepted at home, and moving from elementary school to high school made him lose most of his friends. He made one friend, Daiki, and eventually ended up in a relationshop with him for two years. The relationship was not at all healthy - Daiki was abusive mentally - and the relationship only ended when he had to move to America with his father.

During this time he also met Reki and Langa in school and they became friends, causing Kiyoshi to be introduced to S and also rekindling his childhood love for skateboarding. He met Aiko after a race, crashing into him during a beef with Miya, and from there he vowed to irritate the guy until he let him into his life.

Aiko eventually offered for him to be his roomate and Kiyoshi took it - he got to leave his parents behind and be more independant. After certain scenarios, the two got closer to one another and Kiyoshi developed a crush. It took a visit from his ex-boyfriend to get them together, but it worked out in the end.
