Ziegfeld, the Executioner's Links
"Shrimp."
"A horrific beast! A demonic brute. We will not speak of this again. Carry on."
"............Coward."
[He scurries to the wall.] "Is that thing HERE? Oh no, no no not again.. I can't do this a third time."
Too busy lunging at all the others to acknowledge Gwen's existence.
Finds Ziegfeld morbidly entertaining when she plays cat and mouse with the others. Wouldn't hesitate to knock her down a few pegs when prompted.
"............."
Knew her when they were two juvenile knights in the same squadron. Though she never spoke a word, she did not seem to despise his presence. And so he was something of a friend to her, and he tried his best, despite never getting a word out of her other than, "I'm a girl."
To ignore the Yharnam origins and alternate into the universe of Elden Ring, there is a Ziegfeld not yet fully fallen, alike in the Lands Between themselves. With this, she is blessed with a companionship from one particular Knight that had given her a match in terms of combat. And she respected that greatly; whatever Zig's version of respect really is. Apparently, it entails a multitude of targeted jests at Ferdinand's bodyguard-like demeanor. She loves them, it is a shame the woman isn't this bittersweetly sane for any first victorian cosmic horror town.
Ferdinand adores Ziegfeld, as much as an average observation would yield the otherwise. The two are opposites in most, but their bond is thicker than the blood shed on their first encounter with each other; and the Knight endures their companion's consistent teasing, for it is her own way of love. - Whatever this toleration reflects onto Ferdi is questionable. If only they knew how to tell Zig's blissful unawareness about their own terminal state- The silver helmet will not leave off its habitat any time soon.
