Solstice is the new Goddess of the Moon. Despite her difficult childhood with her parents being killed at a few days old, and being rejected by her herd for her odd colored eyes that lack pupils; Solstice somehow still finds a way to help others and be her bright self. Well…not all the time. The only family she had was her older brother Namir until she met her new herd and her soon to be family. Including her best friend and sister-in-law Eclipsetess. Though being born a unicorn, Eclipsetess had gifted her wings.
Though soon after meeting her new family, an ancient immortal tyrant had taken Eclipsetess as they set out traveling each Isle in order to get her friend back and save the Isles. All while finding out who Solstice was meant to be when the tyrant, Dragon Devil or Dra for short, was hunting her.
In the end, Solstice managed to defeat him almost costing her life as well as everyone else’s. Though Solstice would never be the same. Dra would forever haunt her. Even in the underworld, he still manages to mess with her head. Though after it all, she met Orion and soon had a mate who would be there in the good and the bad.
Wasn‘t too much longer until Nysa was born. Their first daughter. Only for Dra to break out of the underworld hours after her birth. In the end he was back where he belonged. For once in her life, Solstice had gotten a few years in peace as Nysa grew up to be a fine mare.
Only for a new tyrant to appear and turn everyone into stone statues including Solstice and Orion. When she thought it was over, he had returned only to kill her close friend and even Solstice. Solstice depends on her necklace to survive despite being an immortal goddess. If it’s ever removed or broken, being immortal won’t matter.
If it weren’t for Eclipsetess to save the day again and forged a new necklace to bring her back. Months later, and Solstice had delivered a second foal. Another filly. This one taking after her father and representing the sun. Only she was born a Pegasus instead of a unicorn like her older sister, and the powerful magic coming from the newborn filly that everyone around her can feel. Solstice was going to protect her new daughter just as she had with Nysa. No one messed with her or her family.
