The Start of Something Terrible

First, there was the fire in Nomson's Port, that consumed the enitre city. (Not the best start to a morning.)

Then it was being abducted by pirates, from said burning port, and being knocked unconcious. (Really rather rude, honestly.)

Followed by being pressed into service by said pirates, on the threat of death. (Worst case scneario, they were humans, he could outlive them all.)

A Sinking State of Affairs

Then, partnered with three others, they were sent to different islands to gether relics for the pirate captain. Which they succeeded in doing. And possibly killing a rival pirate lord. And also helped raise an old ally pirate lord from the bottom of the sea? It was a lot.

Now they have to sail, on their own, in a little dinghy across the ocean to research pirates from centuries ago. Becuase otherwise the seas as they know them might be destroyed. Which is bad.

A Dream of the Future

Once, Kaladrel wanted to captain a ship. Now, the idea of settling in a seaside port, and opening a shrine to Valkur for the sailors passing through is sounding more and more appealing.
