Nao is smart, quick thinking, and mature. He is known to ask questions where he deems necessary but doesn't often push too far for the answers unless ordered to. He is also known to be rather proud and takes great pride in his position both being a general and being married to a princess. He is more expressive than most of his kind but doesn't often let it show around his superiors. He is very loyal to his pack and will always do what he must for it.

Nao was born a soldier for the Tanlin Clans. He was separated from his parents for training so he didn't get to bond with them much, and very rarely does he interact with them. Nao worked hard and surprisingly was able to rise in the ranks to "General" by the age of 17.
At the age of 18, Nao was arranged to marry the royal light wolf of the pack, Taja. The two were wary of each other at first but soon warmed up to one another and became friends. It took a couple of years, but the two eventually fell in love. Not long afterward, Taja's personal guard and best friend Mialora joined in on the relationship, making them a trio of lovers. This part is kept a secret though due to Taja's status and Nao helps greatly in keeping the secret. He loves both of his mates with all his heart and would do anything to protect them. He even takes great pride in the fact that he is married to a princess. He dislikes any homophobic comments he hears from other pack members but has no choice but to keep his mouth shut to keep Taja's half of the relationship with Mialora a secret.
Nao works hard every day and is often busy carrying out orders from his princess mate or helping pass them on to others. He only sometimes gets irritated when Taja is in no hurry to do things since urgency for task completion was always drilled into his mind growing up, but he doesn't say anything since she is a princess and has the right to do as she pleases. He hopes to one day be the leader of the pack with his mates, but for now, he is content as a general.

- Nao was 4 when he was taken away from his parents to start training.
- Nao and Mialora often take time out of their day to gush about how gorgeous Taja is, but Nao most certainly makes sure to tell Mia just how gorgeous she is as well.
- Nao is on the taller side of his species, being 173cm tall.
- Nao was born with a brother and a sister, but like with his parents, he doesn't interact with them much, if at all.
- It was Nao who suggested that he and his mates all be in a relationship together after finding out about Taja and Mia's relationship from before he and Taja were put together.
