In the story invented by the PizzaPlex, Mirage came from another planet, and was the one who taught the glamrocks to fight aliens during their galactic journey, using specially designed weapons that came from her people: the fazerblast gun. Mirage helped the glamrocks fight them, and after returning from their space voyage, Mirage returned with them, to teach the Earthlings how to fight aliens too. Of course, she didn't really live this story, it's only related to her role in the PizzaPlex.

Mirage is a snow leopard with a competitive spirit who loves to win when she's in the game. Outside combat, she enjoys passing on her knowledge to children and adults alike, teaching them the best techniques to become skilled, but without threatening her own victories. Having a strong temper, she loves to speak with irony and sarcasm, and this is usually her way of laughing with others. Overflowing with energy, she prefers to spend her time constantly in the FazerBlast maze, even when the pizzeria is closed to the general public. She can't stand boredom and has a compulsive need to expend her energy no matter what it takes, so standing around doing nothing makes her particularly anxious. Her competitive spirit and irrepressible desire to win are double-edged. On the one hand, she brings more customers into the PizzaPlex because so many of them want to win against her (not least for the prize); on the other hand, Mirage takes her defeats very hard, sometimes to the point of violence. She's even been known to lash out at the FazerBlast structures after a defeat to a guest, causing extensive damage that has led to the temporary closure of the FazerBlast on several occasions.

IN-GAME BEHAVIOR

In the game, the Fazerblast mini-game to win the fazerblast gun has been improved, and is now played in two stages. The first part is played as normal, i.e. in CTF mode with the bots around to prevent Gregory from capturing the three points in the maze. Then comes the second part, in which you have to face Mirage directly in a 1V1 battle to win the whole game. Chica is no longer present in the FazerBlast maze throughout the game.

Mirage's shield has a total of six hit points: two at the front and four at the back. The key to winning the battle is to hit her mostly from behind, bearing in mind that Mirage runs faster than the other animatronics. Using the hiding places found throughout the labyrinth allows the player to escape Mirage and regain his health and ammunition, which recharge very slowly. If Mirage manages to kill Gregory, the player will have to restart the fight against her from the beginning (but won't have to repeat the CTF mode, given the difficulty of the fight against Mirage). Shooting Mirage will stun her for a very short time, and as she runs faster than the player, it's vital that Gregory immediately hides, or at least gets out of Mirage's sight.

Shooting Mirage will lower her life, which will be represented by a heart on Mirage's chest. When her life is completely empty, the player wins the game. However, once the game is won, Mirage will start looking for him through the maze, and Gregory will have to get out of here quickly. If Mirage is on his tail, the player can use the Fazerblast Gun to stun her until he can get out.

The moment Gregory puts the Fazerblast Gun back in the compartment, a cinematic will play where Mirage, in an attempt to kill him, tries to get into the elevator to grab Gregory, but her arm gets stuck in the door, ripping her arm off, with Mirage screaming in so much pain that her jaw dislocates. If the player decides to return to the Fazerblast (to retrieve potentially forgotten gifts, for example), he or she will find Mirage wandering the maze completely shattered, her arm amputated, her jaw dangling and her metal shell cracked and dirty. She can be heard crying and screaming in rage, swearing that she will kill him for sure, since she has definitively prevented her from playing ever again.

• Mirage's nickname is "Mimi" but she hates it so much (she thinks it's way too cute and dumb) that she only allows Chica to call her that way. No one else is allowed to, and if they do, even by accident... May Mirage have mercy for them.
