Jinhai comes from a huge family of sailing merchants, the Sea Gibbon Clan. They’ve been traveling the world and selling handcrafted magical items for generations, making Jinhai not only a formidable innkeeper, but also a talented enchantress, just like the rest of her family.

The countless interactions she’s had with the many people her family has encountered on their voyages shaped her into a sociable and outgoing person. She loves engaging in conversations, and finds as much joy in sharing her tales as she does in hearing those of others.

When Jinhai decided to make Port Yenai her home and open the Nautic Nest, her parents' parting gift was a powerful enchanted ring that has the power to create up to three perfect replicas of the wearer. This item is one of her greatest treasures, serving as a reminder of her clan's love as well as being an invaluable tool. She heavily relies on the power of the ring to keep the Nest up and running. Assisted by her duplicates, she is able to single-handedly manage the many everyday tasks that any other innkeeper would need employees for—from welcoming and entertaining guests to preparing meals and keeping the establishment clean.

However, her role as an innkeeper isn’t the only thing she is devoted to—her love for her wife and daughter knows no bounds, and she is always looking out for them.
