Personality: While outwardly Paragon is a seemingly lovely individual, underneath it all she's manipulative and spiteful, not really caring for those beneath or above her, it's all a little act she puts on in order to get her way.

History/Backstory: Paragon Diamond was the first diamond Rainbow Diamond created, and from the moment she opened her eyes Rainbow declared her perfect, something that went to Paragon's head. Rainbow told Paragon all about how to be a good ruler, a kind one, but Paragon didn't want to be that way, she wanted things to be more under control, more strict, and better for the prosperity of her empire. 

Paragon wasn't alone for long however, Rainbow would go on to create Black, Grey, Colourless, and Bicolour Diamonds next, and this is where Paragon started to put her plan in motion, slowly but surely manipulating both them and Rainbow diamond. Telling the four new diamonds that Rainbow was always busy with things and had absolutely no time to be bothered, but she herself would relay any messages from Rainbow to them, all the while twisting what Rainbow had actually said to be her own words, finishing with "It's what Rainbow Diamond wants", while telling Rainbow that the other diamonds were busy and didn't have time to visit them, at all, ever. This cycle continued for a long time, Rainbow would go on to create ten more diamonds over the course of the next thousands of years, all of which fell into Paragon's web of lies and deceit. 

Paragon had taken Rainbow's ideas of a free planet and twisted it horribly, lower gems were not allowed to express themselves in any way, fusion was banned unless it was lower-ranking gems of the same type fusing for battle, and any and all defects were punished with shattering, same went for any gems that were found breaking any rules and regulations. None of this Rainbow wanted but could do nothing about since they didn't even know it was happening. all according to Paragon's plan. "It's what Rainbow Diamond wants"
