(MAJOR WIP!!!)
Dotty is... well, we're not really sure what she is, or where she came from... but isn't she such a lovable scamp?
My original idea for Dotty's whole... er, shtick... was going to be something cute and silly, like "she's made it her life mission to bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe". But now... she has become something wholly different. She is beyond my reach and comprehension. She is her own little woman and we cannot stop her.
The most important things to know about her are that:
1) She can and will bite you just because (it doesn't hurt, her teeth are made of foam.... buuuuut she likes big overdramatic reactions from people. Scream a little when she bites you. Humor her.)
2) She loves BBBs (big beautiful birds). (Note: Dotty is very small, I'd say not much taller than a foot, so "big" is very subjective when compared to her.) Her celebrity crush is Beverly Plume the Turkey from Muppets Now.
3) She's very rambunctious but she means well. She's like definitely an adult woman with her own house but she is also Your Little Baby you can Carry Around. Does this make sense.
4) She's got this... slightly grating, raspy voice... with some kind of little accent— I think it would be best described as a New York accent. My closest comparisons are a slightly higher-pitched version of Penny Waxman from The Muppets Mayhem (forgive me this is the only clip I can find of her online!!) and Cuckoo-Loca from Mickey and the Roadster Racers.
5) Nowadays, she would technically be considered an "OC", but she was made for fun a long time ago as a bit of a compliment to my friend Clown's Welcome Home characters/universe. She loves Poppy! That's her big wife!
6) I thought it would be funny to make her a fan of Yung Gravy as a joke because they both share a common love for um.... beautiful Older Women... but I don't know if it's a joke anymore. I think it's funny to make Dotty a little bit vulgar. With a bit of an affinity for slapstick cartoon violence. I hope you can understand.
