Sawgrass is an endangered Key Deer, currently located on No Name Key in Florida.
Sawgrass is a typical 2.5 ft tall, 4 years old, and during a particularly harrowing battle with a laundry line, he managed to snap off most of his right antler, and also puncture a pair of purple socks with his left. Although he doesn't like the way they drip water onto his head when they get wet, he does seem to get a lot more attention from other animals and friendly humans, so he's grown to like them as an accessory.
