Christie was a character added later in the show after a Halloween special where she took on an antagonistic role. She would tell the other neighbors spooky stories then scare them left and right throughout the day.
in the show Christie would continue pulling her tricks on Home's residents to distract them from whatever other mischief she had planned for the day only to be caught later at the end of each episode she'd be in. Christie only appeared in a few episodes, significantly lesser episodes than the main and supporting cast, most likely because her puppet was somewhat difficult to work with (as she was supposed to be a one-off character but due to her popularity, she gained a spot in the main show.) as it required three people to control all her arms.
