If its too cold outside she might freeze, but it wont kill her. if its too hot outside she might melt, but it wont kill her.

she's a shapeshifter!
technically not even a bird-
she used to be just a white blob of materialized, unshapen space matter that has then been shaped into her current main shape by a lost child.
maybe the child remembered a toy it had, or fellt like it wanted to be free like a bird.
tomo is still unstable though, and that comes with pros and cons.
she can transform into anything she eats, if she eats for example a dragon scale, she can now turn into this dragon forever because the DNA has been added to her library, but she may lose control
of herself if the thing she turned into is too large or complicated to handle. this makes her pretty dangerous even if she only means well, just good doktor out of all people is taking care of her.
ALSO you may notice there are some brown versions of tomos shapes, the brown is from her summer coat colors!
