Born in a cult, Demi was raised by two parents heavily devoted to God. He was in a cult that believed a child born in the cult in 2019 would be the Messiah. Demi, being born in 2017, wasn’t even an option. So he planned. He himself knew he wasn’t the messiah, but he dreamed of having power. When he was seven, a older cult member in his mid-thirties claimed he could help make Demi more powerful. Demi, being an impressionable kid, followed him. For years, Demi was abused by the man (both physically and sexually) making Demi desperate for attention from anyone who was willing. Eventually, Demi killed the man (when he was thirteen), claiming he had received a sign from God. The cult praised Demi, and this act shot him up into the ranks, one of the youngest members (besides Nestor) to ever be ranked so high. After a dramatic turn of events, the Messiah, Rowan, is murdered at fifteen by a fellow cult member (Azar). Demi takes advantage of the situation, now sixteen, and makes his move, taking over the cult.
