Aranha was a young spirit when the Spirit Wilds began to be taken over by mortals, the forests being demolished and their peaceful lives being uprooted.
While she might of been young, she was stronger than other spirits and refused to allow the mortals to continue to destroy their home. Along with other spirits, she would lead the way to fight off the infiltrators and would defend their lands. Even if it meant killing and taking things further than the more peaceful spirits would like.
Even now, she helps lead the more aggressive spirits and will chase off and potentially harm anyone who enters their lands. Having helped take over a few towns near the boarders, the ruins having long since become over run by nature.

Notes:
~she's a Dark type based spirit, commonly these spirits can control and travel through shadows. They often tend to create "secret passages" using this ability.
As a stronger spirit, she can also manipulate other peoples shadows if they lack the will power to resist, essentially allowing her to make them act as puppets temporarily. Along with this she can temporarily "plunge an opponent into darkness", essentially taking away their sight and possibly their hearing as well.
~she seems calm outwardly, but is excessively aggressive to anyone she deems an enemy. Her ruthless personality causes other spirits to walk on eggshells around her, so there's only a few others that are close enough to know much of anything about her. One such person being Faolan
