Hanu puts his Apothecary studies to good use, mixing natural ingredients such as herbs, nuts and oilments to make medicinal potions - for daily and battle uses.

Concoct Ailment
Hanu uses his Apothecary skills to cause harm, mixing natural ingredients such as herbs, nuts and oilments to make hazardous potions - strictly for combat.

• Poison Needle / Gas: Inflicts poison on target(s)
• Sleeping Needle / Gas: Causes the target(s) to fall asleep

Gift of the Gab
By making use of his Merchant family greatest heritage, Hanu uses his charisma to bend people to his will. But he cannot abuse this power: for the more clever target is, the more challenging they are to persuade.

Apraise
Using his dealer knowledge and weaving a beautiful tapestry of words, Hanu can distinguish the true value of the most ordinary item and raise its prices for resale - or bargain for discounts from others that don't know any better.

Hire Mercenary
Being a Merchant has many perks, and one of them is having many contacts: Hanu pulls out his money bag and spends from 100G to 10.000G to quickly hire a single soldier, to a small militia. Protection has a cost that he is very much willing to pay for, if necessary!

Inventory

Caduceus Fangs [ + SPD ]
A pair of daggers with two golden serpents on each handle - one ornated with a ruby gem and the other, an emerald one. The blades can be infused with vemon for inflicting poison damage.

Golden Fleece Bow [ + DEX ]
An elegant, golden scythian bow embeded with magic properties. A wedding gift given by the Manticore Prince Rabbu.

• Infuse concoction: Adds either fire, ice, poison or sleeping properties to an arrow.

Traveler's Outfit [ + DEF ]
Hanu's traveling garb consists of light, fresh clothes and a purse full of concocting materials. The red tunic is of the same color as his family blazon, and and purple tinted cloth reveals his wealthy origins.

Wedding Ring [ Immunity to Poison ]
A gift from his husband, the Manticore Prince Adrahasis, as a symbol of their holy matrimony. It's a magic ring infused with the prince's own venom, protecting Hanu from ever getting poisoned.

10x Harpy Kisses [ Shapeshifting ]
A mederessian delicacy that transforms whoever consumes it into an harpy for an entire day, a wedding gift given by the Manticore Prince Shazade. Side effects might include fatigue and headaches.

Concoction Kit [ Skill: Concoction ]
A sidebag filled to the brim with concoction ingredients and tools, including a mini mortar, cup measurers and a small supply of bottles.

Story

A young merchant with apothecary aspirations, Hanu is the second youngest son of a noble family in Phoenicia. He travels the world aiding those in need of his soothing hand, and in search of rare ingredients for potions and concoctions. One night, during an awful storm, his ship sinks and Hanu becomes a castaway on a mysterious, magical island filled with amazing creatures and ruled manticores. He falls in love for a manticore prince and they get married - now Hanu is getting used to his new life as a spouse and an adventurer of Medresia Island.

Family Ties

Born into a noble merchant family from Phoenicia, Hanu is the second youngest of five siblings. Raised by his parents and servants with plenty of love and with the best education their wealth could provide, Hanu and his sibblings were all free to choose their paths in life - as long as they joined the Merchant's Guild.

Unfortunatelly, both of Hanu's parents are deceased. Fourteen years ago, His mother felled in a deep canyon during a treacherous caravan crossing and was considered dead. His father had passed away due to a kidney failure around two years later, leaving the family business on the hands of Hanu's stepmother - which happened to be their father's forbiden lover since their teens. She is not a bad parent and does run the family business well so, the sibblings don't hate her too much...

Hanu has two older brothers, an older and an younger sister. Each of Hanu's sibblings is following a different path in life. Ahdad, the oldest sibling, has a military career and will likelly heir the family business. Cormag is the second oldest, an expeditionary with plenty of sucesseful rescue missions to boot. Cabiria, the older sister, is an phoenician embassator and a masterful musician. Hanu's younger sister Arisha had just completed her Merchant's Guild application and is studying to become a vestal - but she's having second thoughts about it.

While Hanu can't say he is very close to his male sibblings, he is much more affectionate towards his sisters. Even if he does clash ideas with Ahdad sometimes and also wishes he could be closer to Cormag, he still loves all sibblings - for the blood the binds them is stronger than time and distance.
