Astra

• the gold-grey thing on his ear is an earring (rabbits foot) its optional and he doesnt always wear it!
• the ref above is his main adventuring outfit. he wears other outfits when lounging around or doing magic. feel free to draw him in anything! i have a pinterest inspo board here https://www.pinterest.com/silverscore/astra/ (he usually has brighter colors but pinterest is goth i guess)
• important details: he has blueish/purple scars on his back/neck/lower head//upper arms! please include them if those areas are shown! he tries to keep them covered for the most part though. he also usually has bags under his eyes! if you draw him with the wizard hes a lot shorter than Ras but make sure he doesnt look like a five year old or whatever. hes not short or too young looking the wizard is just freaking huge

Astra was born and lived a generally unremarkable childhood! He grew an interest in magic and the occult at a young age, but didn't know what to do about it besides look up 'free spells to turn yourself into a mermaid' on his iPod Touch. He did eventually start learning how to do 'proper' magic, and got into crystals and candles and stuff! People made fun of him when they found out about it, but he liked having something to believe in. Something he had at least a little bit of control over. He was very close to his grandfather, who eventually passed the farm down onto him. The rest of his childhood and teenage years was uneventful, he lived as your average guy! He liked video games, music, anime and manga, all the fun stuff.

Astra did not want to be a part of the corporate rat race. Alas, most are doomed to follow that path, and he got a job pretty much as soon as he was able to.. He was an artistic soul! He wanted to paint, make sculptures! He wanted to make music and stories. But he didn't have time for all that when he had to focus on a "real job". He eventually got sick and tired of it and moved to his Grandpa's old farm, despite knowing nothing about farming besides what Minecraft taught him. He moved to Pelican Town, immediately gaining friends in Abigail, Sebastian, and Sam- all young adults that weren't all that different from him. However once he took an interest in the Community Center, he met a strange man offering insight on the 'rat problem' that was there, and he met his eventual partner, M. Rasmodius. (The M. Actually just stands for Magister or Master by the way! It's his title, not his name! He does have a first name, Himeros, but it is almost never used, even in private with just him and Astra.)

Aster is now a member of the Adventurer's Guild, much to their dismay. He walks in just about daily, bugging Marlon and Gil, wanting something to do so he doesn't get bored. When he isn't fighting slimes, he could be found doing magical shenanigans with Rasmodius. He could also be out and about in town, hanging with his besties, or with the other townsfolk!

He is a bit of an introvert, so when he's socially drained, he spends most of his time working on his farm, tending to crops and animals. He also likes to go adventuring outside of the town, avoiding any mines, and hunting down locations that he found in Rasmodius' old books.
