Mihr Kannon

Death is inevitable. Everyone will die, be it now or decades in the future. Some have the Godling looming over their shoulder with bated breath, whilst others are forgotten about until a fancy strikes and their souls are snatched. 

Mihr is one of the unlucky few that are always watched. Death waits, sharpening his claws and salivating at any and all slip ups. One mistake is all it would take and Mihr would be lost to the abyss without a second chance. He is already living his second chance after all, and there is never a third. So he studies, and he learns. He visits the hospital when required and learns as much about the body as he can. He has been gifted with the ability to heal, so why should he not be able to heal himself?

A hard lesson to learn is that with healing, it is like dancing on a tight rope. One mistake and the body responds in a way unwanted. It is far easier to kill with the gift than it is to save. A challenge Mihr is likely to never overcome. But there is one other option, immortality.

Something only fables talk about. A truly monstrous possibility but one Mihr covets.

After all, what could go wrong?

Everything.

Sometimes, it would be better to die than to live with the consequences.
