The Story So Far

"Muerte" is not his given name, but it is the only name that carries meaning to him now. The man known as "Adriano Reyes" is dead. 

In his twenties, he served with Jack Montague in the military. They became fast friends, as they both came from small towns and had a lot of stories to swap. They were also friendly rivals, as they both were very skilled. It was nice.

After undergoing super-soldier enhancement in Project Alpha, they both only became more competitive with one another. And when they were both hand-picked to serve in the new Alexiares Unit, it came to a head. Jack became the leader of the command unit. Adriano didn't mind this - he wasn't one for dealing with the public, and Jack seemed more suited for the role naturally. He instead ran a smaller faction in the shadows of Alexiares, which served him better. 

He and Jack didn't see eye-to-eye on much. Both of them tried to avoid direct conflict, but when Adriano killed a man and ruined Alexiares' public relation, it all came crumbling down. They had a fight, one that ended in the destruction of the Alexiares base - and the dismantling of the entire organisation. Both of them were thought to have died in the collapse. Well... in Adriano's case, it was true. He was practically on death's doorstep, after all. 

He woke up a day later, in the rubble of the Alexiares building. Though he thought he'd died - and he, in fact, had - a crow had brought him back.

Shortly after, he began work as a mercenary. Nobody knew anything about him, other than wherever he went, death followed - earning him the eerie name "Muerte".

Personality

He's extremely blunt, and very unfriendly. People don't find his company likable, but he works well. 

He despises Jack for indirectly causing his death and subsequent undeath.

Often complains of chronic pain.
