Starscreech is a large male with spikey fur resembling a star like shape, he is blind in one eye and covered in many battle scars from his youth. He is the former leader of Nightclan and took his duties very seriously, so much so he pushed a lot of his own ideals onto his daughter, Moongale, to Mottlecloud’s dismay. His relationship with his mate slowly crumbled after the birth of Moongale for they didn’t agree on how she should be raised. While Starscreech believed in harsh discipline like his father had taught him, Mottlecloud wanted to raised her kit with soft gentle parenting. His abused caused his mate to attempt to run away only to be caught by him soon after. He punished his mate by keeping her in the prisoners den where Moongale could only visit her once in a while. Mottlecloud eventually got sick and died. Not with her mother out of the way Starscreech could begin the harsher trainings for Moongale. He was ruthless towards his daughter but he was skilled and passed these lessons onto Moongale. He would also give her to commit horrible acts on other cats such as physically injuring them till they bled. Moongale never agreed to these methods and she always felt guilty but she knew better than to disobey her tyrant father.
