Born into a Lucario clan, Jostarr was the leader's son, and was destened to be the next leader. Until a little Rockruff named Dio was adopted into a seperate family in the pack. Although he was betrothed to another Lucario, Jostarr still adored Dio's company. Unfortunately, the peace as the new leader didn't last long, a terrible fire tragically destroyed half of the clan, and while protecting both expecting mates, Jostarr past away, leading Erina and Dio, and the rest of his team out. Although he'd never meet his children, he's happy just watching them grow up from the afterlife.
