Sheriff Devotion is reserved and shy. He often doesn’t speak unless prompted, and he lacks confidence. You will often find him wandering the territory — observers may note the wistful, longing look on his face. He fancies the security of the man-made structures scattered throughout. Despite his private nature, Sheriff cares deeply for others. He is a kind soul with the best intentions. Though this may not come through properly to others due to his stoic appearance. Ideally, he would like to be a protector of those who are weaker, but he has his own barriers to cross before he can consider those aspirations.

He enjoys being around other cats, in spite of his introvertedness. While he may not add to a conversation, he will contribute with his nods of understanding and chuckles of laughter. Sheriff enjoys knowing things about others — he will keep note of what someone said or how they react to certain situations and pocket it for later. He believes it will be of use at some point. Perhaps in a life-or-death situation in which the only way the cat can survive is if Sheriff knows what their favorite time of day is. There isn’t much Sheriff can’t tolerate. He is pretty easy going about things and is tough to rile up. Cats may be surprised to see how lax he is. This is likely due to the fact that he grew up with tiresome brothers — there isn’t much he can’t take. If anyone happens to annoy Sheriff, he will simply acknowledge their presence before wordlessly stepping away from the situation. Though due to even-tempered behavior, he may be more susceptible to manipulation or pushing around.

At the start of SeedClan, Sheriff will be 8 moons old. He has his adolescent woes and dreams for himself, while facing inward you will find that he also deals with his own teenaged-like turmoil. You may find him ruminating on his own anxieties and woes ducked in a corner. Though Sheriff may seem sorrowful, he lightens up at the idea of growing into a strong, well-respected resident of SeedClan. He puts a lot of effort into chores and jobs to be seen highly by senior members of any given group. Sheriff is very superstitious and faithful to the tales and fables his family would share to him. He would beg for older family members and other residents to repeat the stories to him as a young kit, eyes glowing and ears perking up every time he listened. He has an artistic spirit and admires storytellers and the experiences that they recall to those around them. He dreams of a future in which he could be a protagonist of a new tale to be told.
