Moonshadow, otherwise known as Moon, is a light green Ice/Rain/Night/Sea hybrid. She has no knowledge of who her parents are, except that they’re both dead.

Living on the outskirts of the Sky Kingdom, she met another orphan, named Eclipse, whose parents are also dead. All they needed was each other.

Sadly, that ended when Eclipse got slaughtered by a SkyWing patrol when Moon was 7.

Shortly after, Moon met a curious dragonet her age. He quickly became her friend, soothing her whenever she was scared. The grief and trauma from loosing her best friend was partially healed with Dusty’s love.

Eventually, one night, she found out about Heaven and Hell, through a prophecy Eclipse gave to her while she was sleeping. The line between life and death had gotten holes in it.

FallenWings, the spirits of Hell, had found out a way to get to the living world. Only Moonshadow, Dusty, and a few other dragons knew. Several other clues led Moonshadow to find Clarity and Future, who are twins. Future and Clarity both knew she was coming before she arrived, as they were aware of the prophecy. Moon was forced to leave Dusty, who confessed his love to her minutes before.

By herself, she was able to raise an army of hybrids, since hybrids were the only ones who could actually see the spirits, both good and bad. Each hybrid in the army has witnessed the death of a loved one, and they would receive a sign from these loved ones.

The Queen of the FallenWings joined the Great Battle herself! Moonshadow used the power that she tried to save Eclipse with, which wiped out the Queen with one strike of her cursed lightning.

Malice, a FallenWing spirit, who manipulated unhappy dragons into fighting the war with them, threw a spear at Moon, striking her through the heart. Dusty, who arrived a few moments prior, went ballistic when he saw Moonshadow.

Turns out, he had a pure heart, and the RisenWings gave him his blessing. A huge shockwave killed every Fallen spirit within range of his magical roar. The roar awoke Moon long enough so she could tell him she liked him back, and apologized for leaving him.

Her heart stopped beating, and all was quiet. FallenWings began multiplying into a huge army, and they spread among the territories of Phyrria.

They nearly wiped out the MudWings and SandWings before the RisenWing spirits found a way into this realm.

The Council, which consists of one dragon per tribe, ten total, decided that Moonshadow was worthy of a second life. They healed her of her deadly wound, and she regathered her army. All the tribes contributed, sending the strongest to battle.

RisenWings also joined the battle. With Moonshadow’s, Dusty’s, and The Council’s magic, they sent the Fallen back to Hell, where they re-enforced the line between life and death. Before the Risen left to go back to Heaven, Moon saw Eclipse. They were able to finally say goodbye, and Eclipse could rest in peace.

Moonshadow now lives along the SeaWing coast, in a cave with Clarity and Future. She does not have any dragonets with Dusty, but he pesters her all the time about it. Clarity got a husband named Breezecatcher, and Future got a wife named Whisper.
