Conari Greenvale was raised by an older Gnomish woman, named Petalwynn Bellowbraid, in a Temple of Mielikki. Connie is a High Elf, her father was a Sun Elf and her mother was a Moon Elf. They left her on the temple's doorstep when she was a baby because they were too young to take care of her, and didn't think they would be able to be parents. Connie thought she was a gnome for a very long time because she's rather short, but eventually she was told about her heritage and is very excited to go out and meet other elves. She grew up very secluded, as her temple is in the middle of the forest, and was not often around people other then her mother. Petalwynn passes away from old age sometime after Connie becomes an adult, and this is what pushes her to leave the temple and explore the world she's never seen before.
Connie comes off eccentric and a bit awkward, but usually its in a more endearing way. She's not used to talking to people - or social cues/common etiquette - and often says or asks things without thinking. She is sometimes treated negatively because of how she acts, and she usually tries to laugh things off, but she definitely does care about how she is perceived by others. Connie doesn't get angry or upset easily, and especially doesn't show it visually to others when she is. She probably has never felt true anger in her life, as she usually gets more upset and frustrated with things instead. She loves people and wishes to have many friends; if you've ever done even the smallest kind gesture towards her, she will remember it forever. She values friendship very highly, and isn't that interested in romantic relationships.
Secrets and gossip interest Connie greatly, and she is a wonderful person to vent to. She never tells anyone things she learns, and she's very perceptive. Her favorite food is anything spicy, and she handles alcohol fairly well. She's pretty impulsive with money when she has a decent amount, and likes to buy trinkets, clothing, hair accessories, and things of that nature. She didn't grow up having a lot and mostly collected rocks and things people dropped in the forest around her home. Connie is terrified of ghosts, the undead, and the idea of being possessed. It gives her the heebie jeebies! She also hates butterflies, she thinks they're gross and creepy. She does love most other animals though, with her favorite being moles. Connie is personally offended when an animal doesn't like or trust her (even if there's a perfectly normal reason for it).
