Selene

The main protagonist of Captain Artemis, and alter-ego of the eponymous hero. Incredibly quiet, often to the point of barely speaking at all unless she is alone or with someone she trusts deeply. When she does speak, it is said to be "as soft and dainty as her wings". It is easy for Selene to go unnoticed as a result, but she's a lot more proactive than most would assume and often prefers to be out of the spotlight anyway. She excels at behind-the-scenes operations of extracurricular activities at her school, rarely participating herself but making sure that others can. She possesses a kind heart, one noticed by Lalune when he is rescued by her. Though Selene doesn't believe that she is capable of being the hero the world needs as Captain Artemis, her aptitude shines through as her confidence grows over time.
