Mako is an aloof, sporty, calm and confident young shark. While many would probably describe her as serious and introverted, maybe even blunt, Mako means no harm to anyone. Unfortunately for her, as a tall, muscular predator, most are intimidated by her at a first glance - but she makes a great friend once you get to know her. She likes to tell it how it is - unfortunately this can often come across as rude to some. As a lifeguard, Mako spends much of her time at the beach but even outside of work hours, she loves to be by the sea - Mako enjoys participating in a range of water sports but especially enjoys surfing. When she’s not on the beach, you can find her in the gym or spending time with her small but close-knit group of loved ones.

• She has a strong Australian accent and uses Australian slang frequently. She also has a fairly deep voice for a female.
• Her breath always smells like fish, it’s honestly kinda grim.
• Her favourite fish are salmon and tuna.
• She was inspired to become a lifeguard after her brother, Ozzy, saved her own life at sea.

• The markings on her body, her hair and sclera are pale blue, not white.
• She only has stripes on her upper arms and thighs - please do not draw the marking on her lower arms and legs.
• She has sharp teeth.
• She has a slit in her right eyebrow.
