The Butier family has a well-known history in dance. They often appear in music videos or perform at live shows as backup dancers- Nessie was no exception at first. She took to the family business quite happily, finding joy in learning all the types of dance that she would need to know for different choreographies.

However, once there was nothing new to learn, Nessie grew tired of seemingly doing the same moves day in, day out, and so decided to try out a different array of sports instead! Unfortunately, none of these seemed to stick either, as she ran into the same problem as she had previously. So, it was back to dance for the time being.

Though Nessie's original plan was to return to background dancing, slowly the idea of being a Burlesque dancer caught her attention. Tip-toeing into the scene, she quickly found that it made her feel more in control of the shows she was a part of instead of simply being "a side character."

As she grew more comfortable within this scene, she was also introduced to the night-life and clubbing crowd. This, too, caught her attention. She thouroughly enjoyed how unapologetically everyone was themselves, and the trust that seemed to be amongst those who partook in the lifestyle. It didn't take long for her to decide that she wanted to be a part of it, rather than just observing the crowd.

While Nessie continued her work as a Burlesque dancer, she also took up part time jobs from time-to-time. These jobs were EXCLUSIVELY at bars and clubs, where she worked all positions over the years to truly get an understanding of how the businesses were run, and what made the best ones distinguishable from the rest.

Once she'd gained experience, she pursued the proper education to go with it. And through all that hard work was finally able to open up her own bar and club: The Monster's Locker. A semi-playful jab at those who might cry at those who follow a night-lifestyle that they're freaks or weirdos. Nessie fully embraces the slightly stranger aspects of her crowd, because they are her crowd, after all.
