Cloudie

cloudie grew up in southern arizona and still has a soft spot for the mountains and desert, though she's (unhappily) adapting to redneck life in buttfrick, florida. at least the beaches are nice, even though she'll take a pool over the ocean any day. the sunsets are pretty enough, and that's what's important.

she is a psychology undergrad at a state university and is almost done!! she's looking to get a job as either a clinical or counseling therapist - something hands-on to help others. cloudie has also been studying french for a few years now and has plans to visit france. she's also hoping to pick up russian and asl, among a half dozen other languages.

it's impossible to sum cloudie up in a few words or sentences. she's a rather solitary creature, and very emotionally fragile. she never ever learns from her mistakes, be that procrastinating for the millionth time or misreading and overreacting to a situation. she's doing her best to learn to protect and enjoy herself though, and is making little steps in progress toward healing all the time.

she likes to pretend she's a mysterious and deep artist but really she's pretty basic. hobbies include drawing, reading/writing mostly fanfic, and obsessing over any number of fictional characters. she is technically able to play a wide variety of instuments including guitar, clarinet, piano, and jazz bass, though she has fallen out of practice with basically all of the above.

cloudie likes to perceive herself as generally chill and easygoing, though jury has yet to rule on that. she has, however, been described as enigmatic by her teacher of four years who knows her best. perhaps the most important identifier to her is being seen as intelligent. (the gifted kid burnout to anxious mess failure pipeline is real.) however, being though of as a generally good person is nice, too.
