R in is a photographer who grew up and currently resides in modern Japan. Raised by very strict parents, he has had to conceal his true identity from others due to the fact that he is a demon and demons werent accepted whatsoever back then.
At around the age of 14 or 15, Rin's parents were brutally murdered. Unbeknownst to him, the perpetrator was his twin brother, whom he had presumed dead as well. He spent the remainder of his teenage and early adult years with his grandmother and even succeeded in getting married, although, tragically, his first spouse passed away. but now present day Rin has been able to live on happily as a photographer (taking his mothers artistic skills) and even managed to get remarried :)
