Personality

Once outgoing, proud, and somewhat rash, he now seems far more reserved, carefully considering and often overthinking his actions and every possible consequence of them. Likewise he now rarely shows any strong preferences or goals. When he finds himself cornered, however, his old personality tends to shine through the cracks.

Backstory

Born in a small town in the interior of the Grass Continent. He aspired from a young age to join the Explorers guild with his childhood friend Serra. These plans had already found themselves on shaky ground when Doppel intervened, driving him from his hometown. Serra, trying to stop him from fleeing, was accidentally fatally wounded in the resulting conflict. He fled into the mountains, staying for a time with a pair of Umbreon siblings while he recovered. When Doppel appeared before him again, he fled once more and found himself in the Jade Valley, where he finally joined the local guild branch as a solo recruit. He was teamed up with Zephyr in a trial run, who he quickly took a liking to, and the two became a permanent team soon after. The water stone they were rewarded after their first mission was crafted in part into the team emblem on his scarf. The two graduated and climbed the ranks rapidly until Rax was injured; the pair's faces being put up on false outlaw posters and resulting in another team attacking them. Rax, recognizing this kind of handiwork, met with Doppel for the third time, and a deal was made. He keeps their heads low, and Doppel lets him live happily with his new mate. All he has to do now is keep Zephyr safe, and live with himself
