Arthur is a private investigator in his late 20s to early 30s! He loves a good puzzle and has a knack for finding clues. Arthur is blind, his partner, John, acts as his guide and describes their surroundings to him. Arthur plays the piano, and it calms him when stressed. Arthur has not had an easy life, by any means. He carries alot of guilt over things that have happened in the past, but these things have begun to shape the kind of person he is today. He often looks tired and disheveled, but he is quite resilient and not likely to give up when it comes down to it. Monsters and strange creatures always seem to find Arthur and John, winding up in some kind of danger frequently. It's common for Arthur to be injured in some way, usually.

Arthur and John's relationship is contentious and often complicated, They argue and bicker often, even over small disagreements. They don't always have the same opinions or goals, but they both care about the other strongly, and have a nearly unbreakable bond. They just don't always know how to express it well. The two are inseparable, and would probably sacrifice anything needed to get the other back. When Arthur begins to drown in his own thoughts and self loathing, John is there to help pull him out. John is often angry and irritable. He becomes very embarrassed and flustered by any compliments or affection from Arthur.
