Lila is very particular. Her gear, living space, and belongings are meticulously maintained and organized. She will sleep upside-down, but would rather cuddle if given the oppurtunity. Even when at rest, her nose and ears are constantly twitching and taking in information. Her echolocation is almost unnoticable to those not paying very close attention, as the noise she makes is at a frequency most creatures are unable to hear. She relies both on active echolocation and passive hearing to navigate her environment. When her face is not covered by a mask, she tends to rub the patchy fur that has grown over where her eyes used to be.

Lila is generally a good communicator, though she is prone to oversharing and encouraging others to do the same. She tends to keep most of her worries and thoughts about others to herself, and loves to learn more about those she spends time with.

Lila is a lover, she tends to show affection through gift giving and acts of service. It's important to her that the people she cares about are safe and content, she feels useful when she is able to help those close to her achieve this.

Pointed muzzle with a soft, pink nose. Fur on her face is soft and thin, with longer, coarser fur on her cheeks and neck. Ears are very large and have a thin fur coating.

The loss of her eyes created her most noticable scar, the skin has healed over her eye-sockets and some patchy, thin fur has regrown over the skin.

Story

Before

Lila was born into a family of librarians and book keeprs in the far west of Cyral. Her family was heavily religeous and becoming a cleric was an expectation. Not an option. The oldest child of 5 siblings, she often found that her family had unrealistically high expectations for her life and research. She grew restless and traveled to a small adobe home in the scorched desert near the border of Eirith and Cyral to spend her time doing research on local geology, flora, and fauna. Illustrating and cataloging anything she could get her hands on. She found herself drifting away from many of her family's ideologies and into her own.

After a few years of relative isolation she developed a budding interest in clothing across regions. Lila decided to travel to Eirith to study their culture surrounding fashion and clothing. Unaware of their strict rules on unlicensed use of magic. She found herself in a perilous situation, nearly getting hit by a cart while walking in the evening. She cast a light spell, frightening the animals pulling the cart and causing it to crash into a nearby group of people. Her eyes were taken as punishment.


Now

She returned to her home shaken. Not knowing how to tell her family about her injury, she decided not to. She knew they would become concerned once she stopped sending letters and information she had gathered, so as soon as she was confident in her abilities to navigate, fight, and heal, she left for the Hunter's Guild. Accepting a job that promised travel and gold. She missed her old life of quiet creativity, but liked her new companions and welcomed the distraction from the fact she can't go back to how everything used to be.

Lila left her party of hunters to follow Emm, her former employer, out of the city. They spend a bit of time together in the coastal city of Klin before heading off of the continent to Korreth in order to find a magic item buried deep within the Islecast Ruins with a band of new friends. They defeated monsters, hags, and a sealed magnitory titan as they progressed through the frozen city. Even returning a long-mad demilich to his former glory. With the item, a gem imbued with great power by one of the gods, the party released and defeated The Bloody Rebel. A vampire, Vinkin Farron, who had been sealed away after slaughtering several divine families. After his defeat the party continued, until Lila's connection with her diety was severed. The mother goddess is dead, and forces are coming together for war.
