Angelo Balestrieri

Angelo is a luthier - a violin maker.

Born in the mid 1700s, he was the youngest of 7 siblings. As a child, he injured his knee in a race, and it never healed right, resulting in him typically using a cane to help him get around. He is a fourth generation luthier, and the only one of his siblings to be turned into a vampire. His sire embraced him one night after she fell in love with his violins that sounded 'like a sunrise', and left him soon after. Angelo was angry for a long time, and remained by his wife's side, feeling like he was robbed of the chance to grow old together with her. Eventually, they moved to London to pursue better financial chances, where they remained til Maria, his wife, passed away from dementia, aged 67.

Angelo was struck with a powerful grief for nearly 20 years, moving to Italy to escape it, where he met Emilia. Emilia became his ghoul in return for immortality, and Angelo loves her like the daughter he and Maria could never have. Emilia is an independent woman, and Angelo supports her in all her endeavors, encouraging her to better her life. In return for her extended life, she maintains a small garden of flowers for Angelo, and helps run his shop during the day while he sleeps. For the sake of her prospects, he returned them to London. He set his shop back up, and began the long process of cementing himself in the vampiric scene as The Prime Luthier in London. During this process, he meets Prasad and by extension, his wife, Beatrix.

He joins their relation, making a throuple, after a concentrated effort by Beatrix to seduce him and his own inability to stop himself falling desperately in love with the pair of them. Prasad's less than legal job sometimes causes trouble for him, but its nothing he insists he can't handle.
