Rupee

Rupee is a Hylian traveler that was made for practicing rpgs. She started her adventure during the canon of botw before ganon is defeated and she is 19-21 around the time of Links journey. Rupee's real name is Meiko but got her nickname from her grandfather for her treasure hunter like tendencies. In the fall of hyrule materials are scarce for villages and without the hero there to aide it falls on citizens to deal with the machines that now litter hyrule and scrap them for parts. As a child rupee liked to go where the other children wouldnt dare, often hanging off the inactive machinery and climbing them like toys. As she got older it became clear that the world was bigger than the stable she worked at and the town she loved dearly. She wanted to see the Rito villages and learn how to fly, and try goron spices on death mountain. Things you can't do if you stay home. Not only that but the people still lived in fear of the mechanical beasts that once protected them and she could make a difference as a traveling ruin hunter selling on the road and harvesting from the ancient tech.
