Violet comes from a long line of promising Lizardfolk Paladin, until she broke her oath, which caused her to be cast out from her family.
Violet grew up within a commune of Paladin Lizardfolk. Her mother and father were viewed as what you could call leaders, making her highly respected among them. She was taught at a very young age that values of a paladin and how to help others before herself. Her oath taking ceremony was a huge deal. Everyone within the commune attended and cheered her on. While she began to doubt this is what she truly was meant to do.
This all came to a halt one day when her and her mother were out for a stroll within the woods near their home. With little to no warning, her mother was attacked by an Owlbear. Not thinking about her oath or what anyone would think, she used her skills to kill the Owlbear, saving her mother. Even though she thinks she did the right thing, her mother was furious. Driving her away from their home and declaring her oath broken.
