Personality
Tendai spends most of his time baking and reading. He doesn't leave the comfort of his ruins very often, but when he does it's usually for supplies for a new pie, or it's something that his snails need. He's quiet unless he's around his friend Joash. His love language is spending quiet time with whoever enters his library or kitchen. He's nice to everyone he meets and will offer them accommodations if they show up at his (hidden) doorstep.
Appearance
Tendai takes the appearance of a small dinosaur of an ambiguous species. He's stocky and small with soft spikes and a squishy tail. He keeps his claws dull so he doesn't tear the pages of his books or hurt his snails. He's got bags under his eyes. He can usually be seen wearing a dress of sorts, though he prefers to call it a robe. It's soft and light-weight; he's got multiple pairs of the same robe.

Backstory
Tendai has been alone since he hatched from his egg, but he likes it that way. Everything he's learned how to do he's taught to himself, or he's learned from his friends. He prefers his quiet life and honestly couldn't see himself living any other way.
He's generally a pretty happy-go-lucky little dino, nothing really dampens his mood for very long.
Relations
Joash [AU] His best friend. Joash keeps him company from time to time and takes Tendai out on adventures he normally wouldn't have had he been left alone in his ruins. They share the same interests when it comes to reading, eating, and snails.
