Layla

Layla's Story

Layla was a guardian angel in heaven like Airis was. However, Layla was higher up in the ranks, where Airis wanted to be. Due to the controversy going around heaven with Airis' issues, Layla was sent down by the leaders to spy on Airis while she was watching Acacius. Layla eventually bumped into Acacius and told him about everything, but made him promise not to tell Airis about her being banished and that she (Layla) is spying on her (Airis).

After awhile, Layla eventually grows attracted towards Airis and develops a crush. Layla has to fight between obeying her original orders like she was told to, and now having a crush on Airis. Layla ignores her original orders and wants to spend time with Airis. Layla starts to struggle with her own identity as her life was to be devoted to her duties as an angel, but she too starts to grow fond of the human world and all the wondeful things they have that she would never get a chance to experience in heaven. Layla starts to feel a lot of guilt as well when she finds out about the tragety with Ren and all the misconceptions surrounding his death and why he went to Hell instead of Heaven. Layla starts to realize the toxicity of the guardian angels and does not wish to return.
