Childhood

Xhyros grew up in a family of scribes and merchants who primarily trade and copy over rare literature. As their job is a fairly prestigious one and they have contact with a lot of higher ranking Ichgors they are very keen on keeping up a great image. This was also enforced onto Xhyros, who had always been somewhat of a rowdy person. Instead of being able to run around and wrestle with other kids she was ordered to perfect her writing and taught higher class manners. Acting out on her energetic urges usually ended in some sort of punishment. Her only positive outlet was being able to play with her friend Toku, whose godmother would often buy books and scrolls from Xhyros' parents. Whenever they were tending to their buisness she had time to run around with him and get into all sorts of trouble. They hung out more often as they grew up, and Xhyros regarded him as her closest friend.

Her parents only got more strict and controlling over the years, and after Tokus godmother passed and he began to shut himself in she spiraled into a cycle of supressing her anger and then letting it out on her surroundings when it became too much. While she tried to keep her outbursts a secret her family eventually caught on to who was destroying property and fighting people in the neighbourhood. She got into a massive fight with her parents over it and ended up severely injuring her father. Without any hesitation she ran off, into the woods, away from her home. She did not bring much with her aside from what she already had on herself. Having had enough she decided to stay away from people for some time and instead live off of the wilderness. It was a rough time, she had to hunt nimble prey while avoiding getting hunted by the unforgiving predators of the Azvirahn territory. She developed her fighting skills and became one of the ruthless hunter herself. Despite getting injured a bunch she prevailed, and after some time even enjoyed the fact that every day was a thrilling fight for survival. After a few weeks, however, she started to miss the contact to other ichgors and decided it was time to return to society.

Pre-Exile

Her days in the wilderness ended when she was approached by an ichgor following an animal which was intensely sniffing the ground. She introduced herself as Zazirah, and was tasked by Xhyros' family to track down the runaway and return her to the estate. Instead of doing that she decided to offer Xhyros a place to stay and fabricated a lie to return to Xhyro's parents with. Greatefully Xhyros accepted and ended up staying with Zazi for a while, helping her out with her animals and recovering from her time in the wild. She eventually decided tomove on and find some work and her own place as she did not want to be too much of a burden to zazi who generously let her live at her farm.

She got her first proper job working as a bouncer for Giro'Chads renowned night club. While she appreciated having a job she eventually left again after bickering on and off about how she hated wearing fancy uniforms and generally being a bit too much of a menace at times. It did help her to think about her future and the issues she carries with her tho, so she was not too bitter about leaving.

She eventually found herself with the Vipers, members of a shady brothel owned by Azurha. She was offered shelter and food in exchange to work. This didn't necessarily include being a consort, and Xhyros first did simple domestic work. Her thirst for violence and action never really dimmed down, and she jumped at the oppurtunity to do more bloody jobs. Finally she felt like she had found a place to be comfortable at and work on herself. She had given up on getting rid of her obsession with thrill and danger, instead trying to redirect those urges into more productive directions, like hunting or any work that requires fighting.

One day, when strolling on a busy street, someone grabbed her arm. She turned around, only to see her mother standing there, followed by her father and a handful of guards from their estate. For the first time in a while she truly felt scared, her memories of days of being locked away and being forced to follow a path she did not want resurfacing all at once. For a second time in her life she chose flight over fight and ran away, back to the vipers, where Azurha came across the distressed Xhyros. He managed to calm her down a bit, but it was not long after that that her familys guards knocked at the brothel. This time Xhyros got ready to fight, but Azurha made a swift decision to send her off to the Metal Devils territory where she could not be followed down. It was for the better, because who knows how far she would have gone to defend her freedom. It might have resulted in her getting exiled anyways, and having a safe way to the exiled nation wouldn't be guaranteed in that situation. Accompanied by Mainaaka, who guided her through the underground cave system, she made her way to the remote settlement of the exiles.

Exile

Her arrival in the Metal Devil territorry marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life. Everything seemed to have come to a halt, no fighting, simple jobs and little hostility towards her. Cutting off her cheek fluff felt liberating, like a chain that was holding her captive finally snapped. Xynoxious gave her simple work to start with and to gain the communities trust and approval. She enjoyed grilling food for others, helped out with doing the heavy lifting in farms, ran earrands for older ichgors and so on. It was a much needed time off, a way to recover and recollect her thoughts.

During this time she met Etrum, a old ichgor who often tends to the animals around town. They became very close, and to Xhyros he is basically the father she always wished for. They are a strange duo, the calm and collected behemoth and the energetic and feisty alpha, but it seems like their scars and past lives connect them. Etrum and Xhyros can often be seen hanging out togheter or working, even after Xhyros started her new work as a demolisher and hitman.
