Mailu Kaoru
Just help me run away from everyone.
Mailu is one of the 5 members of team Heaven, a quite popular team currently. He mains the Splatana Stamper, and often goes straight up into the danger... Without a backup plan. He is known as either a really scary individual, or as the guy that does one-night stands all of the time. It's safe to say that his reputation is pretty bad. But well, he doesn't care. He thinks it's funny, because his friends knows how he actually is and that's all that matters.
Mailu mostly looks intimidating, if you see him in town. Unless he is with friends, he definitely looks like a serial killer. If you meet him at a club (aka : where he spent most of his evenings before meeting Azu) he will probably ignore you if you don't spark his interest... If you do though, he's a pretty flirty guy, who likes to just have fun. Still this is once more a mask. He's only himself with his friends and his partner. He's a silly guy, who laughs at most things. He's a bit nervous but tries to hide his fears. He craves affection and love, and overall just wants to feel okay, not just look like he is.

Mailu always lived in a family that wanted him to be the "perfect wife". He quickly learned how to be polite, sweet, and do the work around. His parent's goal was to make him as perfect as possible, and he hated that. The frilly dresses, the soft makeup, the sweet smiles... He quickly tried to find a way to escape. The only thing that helped him hold on was ballet. His parents didn't mind it as they thought it was girly and gracious enough. But for Mailu, it was a dream. He dreamt to be someone else, in the outside world... Until he decided to follow another path, his only escape : enrolling in the army. He knew it would be hard, his parents would hate him, but... Honestly, that was one of his goals. It would be easier to escape if his parents weren't on his back.
So, he did. He worked hard to be a good soldier and catch up on everyone else's level. So he could defend himself if necessary, wether underground or at the surface. He was waiting for an opportunity. He made friends with a girl named Seiko, and even though she was way more into the army stuff than him... He thought that they could both wait and leave. And one day, after hearing the heavenly melody, they both decided to run away with a new friend, Hamao. When they officially arrived at the surface, They did everything that was needed to be included in the inkling society. Then Mailu moved in his own apartment, with a stranger named Marisa. Even though she was rude, they quickly got along. They both worked hard to help Mailu do his transition, and when it happened, Mailu knew he would always be thankful to this girl. They became best friends, and eventually both got their own apartment when their situations were good enough. Thanks to Seiko and Hamao, he met Juno and Kabe, and they all decided to make an anarchy team together. This team is linked by a promise : "Until we aren't all happy, this team will be our home."... Which led them to being a close group of five, trying their hardest to support each other and finally be who they always wanted to.
- Mailu does ballet and modern dance.
- He heard of his family again after a few years : apparently, his parents disowned him. He didn't care at all, but at least they wouldn't annoy him again.
- He loves wearing black.
- He often fights with Kabe, and they both get yelled at by Hamao.
- Mailu has a fanbase considered toxic. And he hates that, but laughs it off.
- When he met Azure, he felt quite awkwar... It caught him off guard.
- He often changes his big earring, but the one on his reference sheet is his favourite !

- Any outfit can be ok as long as it fits the vibe of the main one !
The love of his life. He grew up so much thanks to Azu, and wishes to always stay by his side.
Once friends with benefits, now good friends. It wasn't always easy, especially after Azure arrived, but now their relationship is stronger than ever. Mailu really counts on Juno's support for most things, so their arguments always have a big impact on him. But Juno always has his back... even when he's mad at him.
Marisa always acts rude to Mailu, but she really apprecitates him, and he knows it. They know each other like the back of their hands. Mailu loves annoying Marisa, as she always finds a new way to insult him or annoy him back. Even if they don't talk as much as before... We can say that they're best friends, even if neither of them will ever admit it.
Mailu would protect Seiko with all he has, even though she's stronger than him. Seiko was the one who helped him find who he was, and she protected him while in the army. He feels like he can count on her always, and hopes she can too.
Hamao is always helping Mailu with hard decisions, as she is definitely the wisest friend he has. She's like the sister he never had ! He knows he can always ask for advice, even though he feels guilty as he has no way to thank her as she accepts no help from anyone.
Kabe and Mailu have a complicated relationship... Kabe knows that Juno suffered a lot because of Mailu, and even though Juno forgave him, she isn't the kind to forget or forgive. Even before that, they always were fighting each other for some reason. Let's say they never were the closest team members.
