Jade is his favourite nurse, and he goes out of his way to make things easier for him at work. When Jade began taking care of his sister's baby, Wolfgang became the child's godfather and sponsor. Ezra - One of Wolfgang's only friends, and the only friend he has that he has never worked with. He stays over at his house sometimes, but they typically don't even talk to each other much. TENSE RELATIONSHIPS: Every work relationship he has, due to him being an asshole at work. Aden Page - His personal assistant in some versions of the story. They respect each other professionally, but have a confusing sexual tension. Aisling. Aisling Digitalis - Wolfgang's......partner. Because Aisling was the one to pursue Wolfgang, he does not trust that he authentically just wants Wolfgang's attention, so though they enjoy each other's company, their relationship is fraught with mistrust. He suspects Aisling is only pursuing him to gain blackmail material against him. Only once these mistrusts are cleared will this relationship become stable. His estranged ex wife - He tries not to think about her and avoids any mentions of her at all costs. | PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Wolfgang....is a douchebag. He is a neurosurgeon with a private referral center. He employs a couple other surgeons serving their residency with under his mentorship. He takes referrals for neurosurgery of any kind, and regular internal surgery for children. His soft spot for children may be his only redeeming characteristic. He is extremely bored with his life and his success. Growing up, he struggled with psychosis and mental illness that only got worse with age. He thought that becoming very successful at a difficult, stimulating career would solve his restlessness. When his now ex wife, then girlfriend suggested they get married and have a child, Wolfgang thought that perhaps that typical pursuit of happiness was what he needed. It was not. They were unable to conceive because of Wolfgang's infertility, it ruined their relationship once they had put so much of their focus on having a child, and they went their separate ways. Since then, rather than genuinely trying to improve his quality of life in some way, Wolfgang has concluded that he would live a hedonist lifestyle until he inevitably sabotages himself to the point of no return. So he enjoys giving people around him orders, drinking inappropriately much, and driving very fast. He is condescending to his coworkers, kind to servers in restaurants, abrasive to patients he doesn't like, and very nice to children. He seems to choose targets for his cruelty at random, not caring if he angers an investor, coworker, or patient. He wishes for any kind of challenge or interruption to his habitual unchallenged power, even a social scandal. Wolfgang does not drink before working when his patient is somebody he deems worthy saving. He enjoys the feeling of choosing for himself whether somebody is able to continue on living, or to die. Because killing somebody through a botched brain surgery would be very easy and not challenging at all, he has never deliberately harmed somebody during a surgery. He enjoys violence in relationships with others when his victim wants to receive violence as badly as he wants to give it. However, he does occasionally pick violent, possibly lethal fights with angry men he's provoked in bars. Overall, Wolfgang is a violent, self destructive person who is so bored and frustrated with his life that he feels he has nothing to lose. He does whatever he feels like, including abusing substances, breaking laws, and being unnecessarily cruel to others. APPEARANCE: He is a middle aged man who takes very good care of his body for vanity's sake more than for his health. He has shoulder length dark hair, and blue eyes. There are a lot of scars on his hands and abdomen. |
