An innocent citizen that got in Zetsubo's way and was cursed with growing crystals all over his body. Quarbu just wants to live a normal life and so tries to seek help from other citizens, eventually bumping into Alakabi and their little group, who take them in for a long time. Not even Alakabi's best friend, Canicula, can burn the crystals away. And so, finding a way to heal Quarbu is a main goal as well...

The crystals on his body have magical properties, making them extremely difficult to be destroyed or melted by anything. They allowed Quarbu to use some magic, which he tries hard to avoid due to the lack of control he has on them. Overall very scared & paranoid, he is completely unsure of whether he can have a normal life again or not...even if Alakabi just wants the best for him.
