Casius goes by 3 names

Casius-demon (red bat dragon like creature) form

Dismay-raptor form

Onorch-god (4 winged vulture) form

He changes his names in order to benefit from the alias, he was a con artist and thief in life (raptor form)  and still finds use for splitting his deeds between separate names.

In life Dismay made the terrible mistake of trying to steal and sell the rare familiar of a witch. The familiar would not go quietly and in the skirmish Dismay accidentally killed the creature.

Timing couldn’t be worse as the witch herself walked just as the kill was made.

Enraged by the sight before her and blinded by saddness for the loss of her beloved familiar the witch placed a powerful curse on dismay using forbidden magic.

The curse known as the bird eye curse caused dismay to become immortal at the price of eternal suffering.

The curse caused 3 cawing crows to erupt from one of his eyes, this crows would peck at his face flap about and call out endlessly never letting him sleep or rest. His immortality preventing the sleep deprivation snd hunger from killing him.

This curse near drove Dismay insane in a last ditch effort to cure himself he hunting down a god and begged for relief.

Gods try to avoid interfering and thus this god refused to help him.

Near breaking point Dismay attacked the god, a pointless act-however this caused the god to retaliate.

The bird eye curse keeping Dismay alive   Would not allow harm to come to him that could kill him and end the curse and so for the first time in a long time a god was felled by the magic of mortals.

The god killed was the original onorch the god of time and as their must always be a time god Dismay himself inherited the god status, this allowed him to subdue and control his own curse -though it did not allow a cure.

The other gods locked away the new Onorch scared of such a creature.

But in time he was freed and wreaked havoc on the land forcing one god to send him into the underworld to trap him for good.

This lead to his transformation into a demon  and current appearance.

However even this situation would not remain permanent for him.
