Story
Buddy is Sunny's best friend from childhood and one of the two original members of the Cryptid Gang. Seemingly the last of his kind, Buddy hatched from an egg found inside a mysterious trove of supernatural artifacts, supposedly left behind by a mysterious individual. Today, Buddy usually tags along with Sunny, often hiding in his backpack when the two of them go on adventures together.
His large eyes, a signature trait of his species, grant him the ability to perceive things beyond the ordinary, allowing him to detect magic, connect with spirits, and even foresee the future. His gaze can also instill fear and anxiety into those who stare too long into his eyes. Additionally, his large feathered wings, even though not large enough to carry a person, grant him the ability to fly.
