Lùka

ABOUT

Lùka is a self taught mechanic who studies robotics and dark sciences esp anything to do wifh curses. They work as an assistant to the mad scientist Byleth. 

PERSONALITY 

Lùka has a very intimidating aura which makes them hard to approach but they don't realize it nor do they mean to appear that way. Lùka is actually a very laid back person. They struggle to express themselves at times which can lead to misunderstandings but they do what they can to try and clear things up. 

Lùka isn't very vocal about their troubles, bottling it up instead. This can sometimes lead to them lashing out at others. They don't mean to and, to avoid this, Lùka tends to isolate themselves when they're in a bad mood. 

Due to past experiences, Lùka finds it hard to trust others. While they remain friendly, it usually takes them a long time to truly connect to someone. 

PAST

Lùka's family was part of a heavily religious cult. Unfortunately, this cult was not highly looked upon by many due to their distasteful practices thus earning the cult many misfortunes. Lùka's mother, among many, happened to be the recipient of a particularly nasty curse. None of the cursed cult members realized such as none of them had any irregular symptoms. However, a few months later, Lùka was born with a cursed eye embedded in their chest. The cult priests were absolutely horrified at the appearance of the newborn, deeming it a disgusting creature that offended their god and not realizing it was because of a curse. They intended to sacrifice Lùka as an offering to their god. 

The night before the ceremony Lùka's siblings rescued the infant. But, they were caught before making it out of the cult village. All but one of the siblings decided to create a distraction so that at least one of them could escape with Lùka. The plan was to start a small fire to draw the attention of the cultists. While the sibling was able to make it out with Lùka, the fire went out of control and ended up burning the entire village to the ground with no survivors. 

Lùka was raised by their older sibling Ambrose. He had taught Lùka that there was nothing wrong with how they looked despite being made fun of as a child. However, he warned them that the eye can be dangerous if mistreated and not to meddle with it unnecessarily. Lùka began, in secret, to experiment with this weird eye of theirs; learning weird magic and creating a bond with this strange part of themselves. Upon Lùka becoming a teen, Ambrose had grown weak and sickly later passing away before Lùka's 18th birthday. 

Since then, Lùka has joined Byleth at his lab; hoping to learn more about his curse and develop his skills in dark sciences.

ABILITIES

• Speed
  • Lùka is much faster than most and has quick reflexes.
• Curse Magic
  • Lùka has the ability to curse others as well as remove them. However, this only applies to curses they've studied. 
• Dark Magic
  • While able to use other branches of magic in small amounts, Lùka specializes in the branch of dark magic.
