Statistics

Lifespan

40-45 years

Average Height

1.5ft at shoulder

Average Weight

~75 lbs

Diet

Omnivores

Location Found

The planet of Euthoria

Habitat

Sneko exist on a planet known as Euthoria, living in oasis bubbles

Behaviorisms

Sneko are wanderers who travel into various enviornmental bubbles on their planets, adopting traits to help them survive in the unique conditions of their current wasteland oasis.

Group Organization

Sneko are social creatures that tend to live in small bands/family groups. Young are often solitary as they wander the wastelands until settling down.

Hunting & Diet

Sneko are omnivores who can and will eat anything, they will eat what they must to survive.

Reproduction

Sneko partner temporarily and lay eggs, but don't form traditional mate/partner relationships. After the eggs hatch, the band as a whole will care for the offspring

Life Cycle

Snekos start as eggs, hatching after around 2-3 months. They stick with their family band through young adulthood, before most develop a great desire to travel/wander around 4-5 years old. 75% of offspring leave their home to find a new oasis bubble to call their own. They eventually lose this desire to travel around 10-11 years old and settle down as they reach maturity, establishing their own bands and offspring.

Health

Sneko are very adaptable and hearty creatures

Communication

They communicate in their own alien tongue.

Description

Snekos are an alien species existing on the planet of Euthoria.

Euthoria is a barren desert planet with pockets of oasis life scattered throughout its surface, in few-mile long concentrated areas of plant growth. Because they are each individually so isolated and not much can pass over large spaces of barrens, the organic life between each oasis greatly varies in flora and fauna. Being one of the rare species that can traverse the barrens, Snekos have a unique, and necessary function in helping various plants and creatures arrive at different places . They also serve as one of the only truly intelligent/sentient races on their planet. (There are various threats that wander the barrens and oasis areas, that they have to avoid, and another sentient race- Waretempus, exist outside of the Sneko's knowledge since they live deep underground.)

They are extremely adaptive as a species, their physical bodies altering to adjust to the world around them and their enviornment. It's easy to tell where a sneko has come from or been based only on how they look.

They are loners, but do not perform aggressively towards one another very often. While they prefer to be on their own due to their innate desire to travel the world-they are typically very friendly and amicable towards others. it's rare for a sneko to choose violence unless blatantly cornered and threatened. Larger more stagnant groups are more likely to run into traditional territorial spats and displays, especially if they are hoarding resources or blocking others from leaving or entering their oasis.

They are omnivores who can digest most types of organic matter, and they will often adapt to better obtain the most convenient food source. A meat eater will develop claws and fangs, a fruit eater may develop a harder beak to get through tough fruit skin, ect.

While Snekos wander much through their life, it is not uncommon for them to choose to stay in one spot once they reach maturity and breeding age. It is never guaranteed, but offspring are often the reason they finally settle down into a proper 'territory' of their own. From there, their own children will take up the mantle of travelling the barrens.

They live on the same planet as Waretempus, but rarely interact with the other species since the Waretempus live in caves underground. They are only vaguely aware of each other's existances.

Origins

Snekos are an alien race that evolved normally- just on a unique planet set apart from Isethef (Earth equivalent)
