Personality
Hale is quite passionate about the things she likes and it usually takes prescedence over what others have asked of her to their dismay. She follows orders when it suits her, prefering to do her own thing. Very few people can disuade her once she's set her mind on something but once someone becomes important to her she will sacrifice everything for them.
She has a bit of a sheepish nature that comes out when embarrassed or around Eva. She also becomes a bit more silly and light-hearted.

History
Hale was born in Rozalia to Faris and Dania and is the eldest of three. She had a very close bond with her younger siblings, often spending copious amounts of time with them. They really looked up to her.
When she was five years old she was kidnapped by Opehlia Ciar, taken on as an apprentice and almost surrogate daugther. Being seperated from her family and her siblings left a big hole in her heart and she tried to rebel against her new mentor. After a time she found solace in learning magic and began to care for Opehlia a bit.
She does not listen to Opehlia all the time as she does remember that Opehlia kidnapped her and her affection for her wavers from time to time. Hale often goes against her plan and does what she likes but continues to sink into the darkness that her mentor teaches.
Her hair is also naturally pink but becomes darker as she becomes submersed in darkness.
At 15 she meets Eva for the first time and it was love at first sight; she had found her soulmate, something she never thought would happen. Upon learning that Eva is the crown princess, she immediately knows that any relationship between them will be hard for they are on opposite sides.
Hale is always conflicted between her alligence to Opehlia and her feelings for Eva. Her affection for Opehlia is constantly tested and she shifts from caring from her and hating her. Meeting Eva made her inner conflicts worse as she now wants to protect Eva from Opehlia and be free to pursue her own happiness.
