She always masked her depression. She faked a cheerful girl in school and in her personal life. She finally got sick of it after a breaking point of attempting suicide due to her intense depression. In the mental breakdown, she cut her mouth into a smile and scarred her eyes, to make herself always happy, no matter what she went through.

That is what she was told by the tall man outside of her room window, he could hear his voice echo in her head, telling her all the things she would need to be happy. Her face was bleeding and her vision was blurring as she stumbled out of her room into the hallway, making her way to the kitchen. She nervously laughed a little as a way to distract from the pain she had caused to her face. Her parents heard her laughter as they rushed into the kitchen area. They saw their daughter's face disfigured and heavily bleeding. "JESUS CHRIST, BECKY. WHAT DID YOU DO?!" screamed her dad, trying to process what he was seeing.

Her mother cried and cried, horrified at what her sweet little girl had done to herself.

Almost instinctively out of fear, Becky had grabbed two kitchen knives and hurriedly escaped through the backdoor of her backyard. Her parents ran after her, but she was faster than them.

She later woke up in a ditch, her eyes burning. She couldn't close them properly. The sides of her mouth stung. Her vision was shitty, but she could still see anyway.

She got up, hearing the voice echo in her head, leaving her ears ringing. "You'll be happy here. With the rest." He said, but he was nowhere to be seen. He only gave directions to where the new place she would be living from now on would be. Finally, she found it, an old abandoned mansion...

Trivia: She leaves smiley face drawings at the crime scenes, she's "artistic" (she can only draw stick figures)

Her eyes and mouth have scars that resemble the eyes of the smiley face, she kinda has her eyelids cut off?

Taking happy things and making them scary can have a really cool effect on people! Making a character who uses talkatively and smiles to her advantage when killing can be very scary, since many people trust those who are extroverted!

She may be almost “too” happy, and that can make people uncomfortable, but not uncomfortable enough to leave her. She may give compliments and do kind deeds, only to turn on them. And when she turns on them, it’s that much more shocking because she was so joyful! Kinda like Pinkie Pie from MLP!!
